Gregory Thomas Hay holds a master’s degree in Information Management from the University of Washington, with various technical certifications accumulated beginning in 1992. In a career spanning more than 26 years, Gregory has experience as an employee or contractor at several prominent companies in the greater Seattle metropolitan region, including Microsoft, Walt Disney Internet Group, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Umar Adam Ibrahim has a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and has extensive experience in software development, academia, and AI research. He began his career as a software developer, building robust and scalable systems before transitioning into academia, where he taught a range of computing courses, including machine learning, data science, and programming. In addition to teaching, Umar has been deeply involved in student innovation
and entrepreneurship, serving as a startup advisor and mentor for emerging Technologists.

Jacqueline Hsu is a technical reviewer currently working at a FinTech company as a data scientist. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and her master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Jacqueline’s SQL journey began in a class with Greg, and she has since built on that foundation, applying and expanding her expertise across a range of professional roles.
