About the Author
Tulay Guneysel is an accounting and finance professor, award-winning educator, doctoral researcher, and published author with more than 15 years of post-secondary teaching experience and over 20 years of combined academic and industry expertise. She teaches financial and managerial accounting, auditing, financial mathematics, statistics, business analytics, and the applied
use of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI in accounting education. Her work emphasizes practical application, ethical judgment, and workforce-ready skills grounded in real-world data and case-based learning.

Tulay is currently completing a Doctor of Business Administration at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, specializing in Emerging Technologies in Generative AI. Her doctoral research introduces the RAISE Framework, a strategic risk governance model for responsible, auditable, interpretable, secure, and ethical use of AI in financial reporting and audit oversight.
