Prof. Veerendra Kumar Jain, BE (E), M.Tech (Applied Electronics), FIETE, FIE, and Life Member ISHRAE, is a versatile professional with a distinguished career spanning engineering, academia, and authorship. A retired CPWD engineer, he has authored over 150 technical books on diverse subjects, including computer science, IT, management, engineering, and architecture, with over 130 focused on computer science and IT. His expertise in computing covers a wide range of languages and technologies, from early languages such as COBOL and Fortran IV (which he studied at IIT Kanpur in 1968) to modern tools such as Python, R, and Deno. He also holds a Certificate in PC Awareness from NIIT, New Delhi and received training in Big Data and Hadoop from HCL Noida.

As of 2025, Er. Jain imparts his knowledge in building services at prominent architecture and town planning institutions such as Amity University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Indraprastha University, Sunderdeep Group of Institutions, Vastukala Academy, Accurate Institute (Greater Noida), APG School of Planning and Architecture (Greater Noida), and TMU Moradabad. A renowned MEP consultant engineer and designated ME expert for the AICTE in India, he has contributed to numerous projects across the country.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Er. Jain is a seasoned traveler, having explored over 30 major cities worldwide. His travels have taken him to iconic destinations across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East, including London, Paris, New York, and Dubai.
